During the Superbowl all the big brands were fighting to create the ultimate viral teaser for their big day TV spot. We decided to turn a teaser on its head, and create a 5 hour 'eyeball feast' of Victoria Secret model Adriana Lima waving a checkered flag in slow-mo and HD. Shame the 10 hour version kept crashing youtube.

I began all this ad making stuff by weaseling my way through the ranks at Saatchi & Saatchi Australia, and, along with a host of other accolades, helped the gang win 'Australian Agency of the Year' three years in succession. I then moved to Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP) in San Francisco – which at the time was awarded '2010 Small Agency of the Decade' by AdWeek. Now you'll find me grinding my teeth in Los Angeles, as Associate Creative Director at ever-growing hotshop David & Goliath — where being BRAVE is what it's all about.
Over the last 12 years I've been lucky enough to pick up awards and finalists at Cannes, D&AD, Clio, One Show, One Show Interactive, New York Festival, Young Guns, London International Awards, AWARD, The Caxtons and The Sirens. My work has also been published in numerous annuals and magazines including Luerzers Archive, The Work, Campaign UK, Creative Magazine, as well as featuring on websites such as Cool Hunter, Shots, Adcritic and BestAdsonTV.
Over the years I've worked on some great (and, let's be honest, not so great) Aussie, US and internationally acclaimed brands and associations. I've completed work for Toyota, Lexus, MINI, Kia, Sony, Cadbury, Tooheys New (beer), Foxtel - Fox Sports & Comedy Channel, YP.com (Yellow Pages), Hahn Super Dry (beer), Proctor & Gamble (Olay, Head & Shoulders), The United Nations, General Mills - Old El Paso, Westpac (bank), NRL (National Rugby League), RTA (Roads & Traffic Authority), PCA (Pedestrian Council of Australia), Iams (pet food), Demazin (cold & flu med).

I had a great time shooting this in Malaysia with Hank Pearlman of Hungry Man. Without doubt the craziest 'no-rules-no-concern-for-safety' job I've ever done, and I loved every moment of it. I wish we could of made a campaign from the out-takes alone.

We got to work with some true Aussie sporting greats on this project, which was a real treat — including The Australian Cricket Team and some Aussie stars playing in the English Premier League — including strike weapon Tim Cahill. They all of course were terrible actors which made this a lot of fun and well worth it.

Stupid? Absolutely, no doubt about it. What's stupider is how quickly the phrase 'Killer Wasps' worked its way into the Aussie auto vernacular. The campaign was a lot of fun, with online gaming, swatters, interactive floor media, promos and some fun outdoor and ambient as well. This was one of my first ever pieces of work as a creative and a real learning curve.
